Office for iPad now includes printing – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel now support printing from your iPad. Other updates include your top feature requests, such as SmartGuides in PowerPoint and AutoFit in Excel.
OneDrive for Business standalone subscription now available – OneDrive for Business is now available as a standalone subscription with special introductory rates for new customers. OneDrive for Business is already included in Office 365 suite and SharePoint Online subscriptions.
Managing change with Message Center – Message Center has been redesigned based on customer feedback to provide more information in three categories: Prevent and fix issues, Plan for change, and Stay informed.
OneNote for iPad update – OneNote for iPad has been redesigned for iOS 7 with a new unified look and feel that is similar to the rest of the new Office for iPad apps. Office Lens is a new feature that turns OneNote into a portable scanner to help you better capture pictures of paper, whiteboards, and any type in the physical world.
Exchange Online Protection enhancements: part 2 – EOP is adding user access to spam quarantine, DKIM support, improved IPv6, automatic subdomain mail routing, and the ability to manage users in hybrid scenarios.
OneNote for Android update – This update untethers OneNote on Android, enabling you to create new notebooks, create and delete sections, and improved pasting from the clipboard.
Word Online update – This update includes improvements for editing comments now in the editing view, new options for managing lists, ability to create and edit footnotes and endnotes, and easier PDF download and print.
Excel Online update – This update now supports more commenting improvements, you can create new comments, edit and delete existing comments. Now you can edit Excel files that contain VBA without changing or removing the VBA. You can hide and unhide rows and columns.
PowerPoint Online update – A newly improved text editor now renders your text the same way as it will appear with size, alignment, and other customizations maintained it editing mode. New Tell Me integration so you can search for that hard to find features, and inline YouTube video playback for embedded videos.
OneNote Online update – Now you can print your notes from OneNote Online with the new Print tab. Also navigation has improved with a multi-column, collapsible navigation pane to make working on small screen devices easier.
PowerPoint and YouTube – A recent update has re-enabled support for inserting YouTube videos natively into PowerPoint presentations.
Office 365 operated by 21Vianet becomes generally available in China – Microsoft and 21Vianet have partnered together to bring Office 365 to the Chinese mainland with new local data centers and operations based in China.
EU privacy authorities approve Microsoft’s cloud commitments – EU regulators have said that Microsoft cloud services, including Office 365, meet the rigorous standards of European Union privacy law.
Office for iPad – You can download Word, Excel and PowerPoint for iPad from the App Store. The apps have the robust capabilities and familiar look and feel that is unmistakably Office, while offering a fantastic touch experience built from the ground up for iPad.
Office Lens – Capture you physical world, papers, whiteboards, business cards, and let Office Lens clean it up and drop the image into OneNote. OneNote’s optical character recognition helps you find the image when you search.
Clip to OneNote – OneNote Clipper, the easiest way to save anything on the web to OneNote with just one click. Think of it as your camera for the web, snapshotting any webpage you see directly into OneNote.
Compact message header in Outlook 2013 – We’ve taken all the feedback we’ve received and used it to design a compact version of the email message header in Outlook 2013. The new message header gives you control over the header information you see, so that you can concentrate on what matters most: the content of the message.
1 TB Site collections and unlimited tenant storage scale - Now you can have 1TB site collections for OneDrive for Business and team sites: allowing your teams to store more content in a single location and infinite tenant storage scale – so that your organization can bring your content to the cloud without compromise.
Calendar Search in Outlook Web App – Calendar Search allows you to search your own calendars or Group calendars for events in the past, present, and future. You can also search for people’s calendars and overlay their calendars on top of yours for quick comparison.
Enhanced text editor in Outlook Web App – New copy-and-paste options, hyperlink and video previews, and table support in the Outlook Web App editor means you can do more without leaving your browser.
Support for SAML 2.0 federation with Office 365 – Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0 is now a federation option for Office 365. You can configure Windows Azure AD for use with SAML 2.0. Windows Azure AD already supports WS-Federation, WS-Trust and Shibboleth for sign-in federation. SAML 2.0 is an additional, commonly-used federation standard for user sign-in.
OneDrive for business improvements and new subscription – OneDrive for Business (formerly SkyDrive Pro) is personal online storage for a company’s employees. It’s the place where you can store, sync, and share your work files across multiple devices with ease and security. With OneDrive for Business you can collaborate with others in real time right from within Office and edit documents from virtually anywhere via a web browser in real time using Office Online. Accessing your files from multiple devices is a cinch with native OneDrive for Business and Office Mobile apps (including Windows Phone, Windows 8, iOS, and Android devices).

Introducing Office Online – Office Web Apps – Excel, Word PowerPoint, and OneNote – are being renamed Office Online. You still have all of the recent improvements from January and real-time coauthoring, now with a new name.
OneNote Online update – The navigation pane has been updated with new visual cues and new columns for both sections and pages.
Office 2013 Service Pack 1 – Office 365 customers are automatically receiving all fixes and enhancements related to SP1.
Multi-factor Authentication – Now any users can be required to provide a second level of verification when logging into Office 365. Users can opt to receive a call, SMS, or use a mobile app to verify their identity. Multi-factor authentication adds an additional level of security to prevent unauthorized access to documents and email.
Exchange Online Protection enhancements – Multiple enhancements including: directory-based edge blocking, increased Office 365 domain limit, Message Trace extended for 90 days, improved mail protection reporting, Remote PowerShell for EOP standalone customers, and junk mail reporting for OWA and OWA for devices.
Office 365 Message Encryption now generally available – Customers with Windows Azure Rights Management can now use transport rules to enforce message encryption on email leaving their organization.
S/MIME encryption now supported – S/MIME standard now supported in Exchange Online across Outlook, OWA, and EAS so that organizations can send and receive S/MIME encrypted and digitally signed email from any compliant device.
Data loss prevention capabilities extended – Two new capabilities help organizations protect sensitive information. First, document fingerprinting lets organizations match and apply polices to documents derived from the same template. Second, Policy Tips are added to OWA so that you can see compliance policies related to your mail before it is sent.
Hierarchical Address Book now available – Organizations can setup the Address Book in Outlook to show an organizational hierarchy, for purposes of helping users navigate the organization.
New start page in the Exchange Admin Center – A new dashboard view provides direct links to the most common administrator tasks and speeds up admin page performance.
OneDrive for Business for iOS – SkyDrive Pro is now OneDrive for Business. The iOS app has been updated to OneDrive for Business and enabled for authenticating with certain SharePoint Server 2013 configurations.
Power BI now generally available – Now available as an add-on service for Office 365 customers or standalone. Power BI for Office 365 is a new service that enables you to search and access data from both internal and external sources, do natural language queries on that data, automatically refresh data, and create and share interactive dashboards.
Lync 2013 desktop client updates – The update adds an on or off option for displaying pictures in the sender/receiver view, adds support for high-res displays with 200% scaling, and adds the ability to transfer files and pictures in a Persistent Chat room.
Lync Mobile update for Android – This update gives you the option to rejoin a meeting or call you recently left or potentially dropped from, and lets you pick up an IM conversation right from where you left it, even if from another device.
Simplified login to Yammer – When Yammer is enabled as the default social experience in Office 365 the service will automatically map Office 365 users to their Yammer accounts. This mean when users click Yammer from the navigation bar they will not to sign-in again.
Updated Yammer App for SharePoint – SharePoint site owners who have installed the Yammer App for SharePoint should install the latest update to ensure continued functionality with SharePoint Online. Yammer App for SharePoint brings Yammer conversations inline to into context of the team site.

Improved accessibility for Office – Microsoft and GW Micro are partnering to provide people who are blind or have low vision improved access to Microsoft Office. Starting today, customers who have purchased and installed any version of Microsoft Office 2010 or 2013, including both perpetual and subscription clients, are eligible to download a free copy of Window-Eyes, GW Micro’s widely used and highly regarded screen reading software.
Word Web App enhancements – The new Tell Me orientation feature combines natural language questions and search to help you find out how to do what you want to do faster. Also, you can now create and edit footnotes and endnotes directly in Word Web App. The ribbon has a new look, to match changes in other Office Web Apps, and it has improved the ease of sharing and renaming your documents.
OneNote Web App improvements – An improved navigation pane makes it easier to switch between sections and pages.
Outlook Web App new People View – The new People View in OWA helps you quickly view messages from people who matter. It lets you see the mail from your most frequent contacts and automatically refreshes based on your most current conversations.
Lync Mobile update for iOS and Windows Phone – Now iOS and Windows Phone users can upload PowerPoint presentations during meetings and meeting participants can view them right from their mobile devices. Windows Phone users are now able to control the app with voice commands, making it almost hands free. And for iOS 7 users, the app has been updated with a new look.
New Partner Admin Center – Partners now have a central place to see all their customers, monitor customer service health, administer a customer’s service, help manage and resolve support issues, and build their business with trial and subscription offers to send to their customers.
Update on InfoPath and SharePoint Forms – InfoPath 2013 and InfoPath Forms Services will be the last versions of InfoPath.
Office 365 Admin app – Office 365 admins can now see their Office 365 service health dashboard on their iPhone and Android devices.
Switch Plans to a different Office 365 service family – Customers can now upgrade from Small Business plans to Midsize and Enterprise plans, or from the Midsize plan to an Enterprise plan.

Exchange Online mailbox sizes are doubling-Individual user mailbox sizes are increasing from 25 GB to 50 GB. Kiosk, Shared, and Resource mailboxes are also increasing in size.
SkyDrive Pro enhancements-SkyDrive Po is increasing the default user storage from 7 GB to 25 GB, and admins are now able to give users additional SkyDrive Pro storage. Users can now upload individual files up to 2 GB in size to their SkyDrive Pro, their Recycle Bin retention default is increasing from 30 to 90 days, and versioning is being turned on by default for newly created SkyDrive Pro libraries.
